  32. Description:

  34. This application provides a convenient way of deleting unwanted files and
  35. directories. It is similar (but far superior!) to the Mac 'Wastebasket' and to
  36. many similar applications on workstations.
  37.  
  38. Black Hole has the following features:
  39.  * It provides a quick and easy way of deleting files. All of the wipe
  40.    options can be set from within the Black Hole.
  41.  * It provides wipe features not normally available, such as the ability to
  42.    retain directories.
  43.  * It can be configured to keep a backup copy of any file it deletes, for a
  44.    specified length of time.
  45.  * All operations are carried out in the background as much as possible. This
  46.    means you can get on with other things while BlackHole grinds away at your
  47.    disc.
  48.  * It provides a facility for saving files from desktop applications into
  49.    specified directories.
  50.  * It contains a file find utility.
  51.  * It puts a nice sprite on your iconbar which spins round and looks pretty.
  52.  * Black Hole is fully compatible with Acorn's !Help.

  54. Version 2.22 of BlackHole is completely rewritten and now includes a file
  55. finder, a file saver and other functions.
